Sunday School for ALL ages

Here’s what it usually looks like:

Join us every Sunday at 10:30 am for Sunday School following our 9:30 am worship service. Elementary students (Pre-K through 5th grade) meet in the Fellowship Hall, Confirmation-aged youth join for class with our Synod Bishop & High Schoolers meet for a Bible Study.

This is an opportunity for children Pre-K through High School to reconnect to each other, our Church community and grow in faith.

Children in Worship

We love having kids in worship! We have a children’s sermon during each worship service which allows kids to come forward for a message just for them. We also have a nursery with a professional attendant if you prefer to have your child (ages 6 weeks through 5 years) to be there.

First Communion at Joy

First Communion is an exciting and meaningful experience for every child. At Joy, First Communion is held on Maundy Thursday each year. If you would like to discuss First Communion for your child, please contact the Joy office.
